Safari Paws is a small independent studio creating hand-finished, made-to-order pet portraits. If you have a question about an order, a delivery, or your data, we're happy to help.

We aim to reply within 2 working days. Please include your order email and, if relevant, your pet's name so we can find your order quickly.

Shipping & Delivery

Every print is made to order, so each order goes through two stages: production (your portrait is printed and, if chosen, framed) and delivery.

Production time

Prints are typically produced within 2–5 working days of your order being approved. Framed pieces can take a little longer as they are assembled by hand.

Delivery estimates

To keep delivery fast and avoid customs charges, orders are printed in the region closest to you where possible (UK/EU orders print in the UK or EU; US orders print in the US). Delivery times are estimates and can vary at busy periods or due to carrier delays.

Digital Edition

The Digital Edition is a high-resolution file with no physical shipping. You'll receive your download once your portrait is finalised.

Any customs duties or import taxes that may apply in your country are the responsibility of the recipient. We route orders domestically wherever we can specifically to avoid this.

Returns & Refunds

Because every portrait is custom-made and personalised for you, it can't be resold, so we're unable to offer change-of-mind returns once an order has gone into production. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to bespoke or personalised items. This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty.

If something's wrong, we'll fix it

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, we'll put it right with a free reprint or a full refund. Please email us within 14 days of delivery with:

Before you buy

You can generate a free live preview of your portrait before paying, so you can see exactly what you're getting. Please check your preview, chosen size, and frame carefully at checkout — we print what's approved on the order.

Digital Edition

As the Digital Edition is delivered instantly as a downloadable file, the right to cancel is lost once the download has started, except where the file is faulty.

Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as quickly as possible. We can usually help if production hasn't started yet.

Privacy Policy

Safari Paws ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website. We only collect what we need to create and deliver your order and to run our shop, and we never sell your data.

We use trusted service providers ("processors") to run the shop. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the service:

Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EU (for example in the US). Where that's the case, they operate under recognised safeguards for international data transfers.

Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies to make the site work and privacy-friendly analytics to count visits. If advertising measurement (the Meta Pixel) is enabled, it may set cookies to measure the performance of ads and show relevant ads on Meta platforms. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Meta account.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Uploaded photos are kept only as long as needed to produce and support your order. Marketing emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at safariplanetinfo@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

By placing an order through this website you agree to these terms.

What we provide

We create custom, made-to-order pet portraits — as a digital file and/or a printed and optionally framed product — based on a photo you supply and the options you select.

Your photo & content

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant us the limited licence needed to process that image and produce your order. We don't claim ownership of your photo, and we don't use it for anything other than creating and supporting your order.

Orders & pricing

Prices are shown on the site in GBP and include the product as described; delivery and any local taxes are as set out at checkout and in our Shipping policy. We confirm the price when you check out. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors and to refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) in the rare case we can't fulfil it.

Personal use

Portraits are supplied for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't resell them or use them commercially without our written permission.

Made-to-order items

As portraits are personalised, please review your preview and order options carefully before paying — see our Returns & Refunds policy for how faults and damage are handled.

Availability & changes

We may update the site, products, prices, and these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order.

Liability

We stand behind the quality of our work and your statutory rights are unaffected. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
